Job summary

GAS Energy Staffing LLC seeks an experienced Risk Manager to lead the integrated risk program for major capital projects in a regulated manufacturing context. You will establish governance, maintain the Risk Register, and translate risk data into actionable insights for leadership.

The role requires extensive experience with Monte Carlo methods, Primavera tools, and cross-functional workshops. A PMI-RMP or equivalent certification is preferred, with on-site work in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant project controls, project risk, cost/schedule risk analysis or major capital-project experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading qualitative and quantitative risk processes on complex capital programs.
• Working knowledge of integrated cost, schedule, change, estimating and contingency management processes.
• Hands-on experience with Monte Carlo simulation, three-point estimating, sensitivity analysis and confidence-level forecasting.
• Ability to facilitate senior, cross-functional workshops and translate complex risk information into clear management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project Risk Management Plan in accordance with client work instructions and approved governance requirements.
• Lead cross-functional risk workshops and maintain the integrated Risk Register, including risk ownership, mitigation actions, due dates, residual exposure and escalation status.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk assessments using three-point estimating, Monte Carlo simulation, sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling.
• Develop confidence-based cost and schedule forecasts and assess contingency adequacy, forecast movement and key risk drivers.
• Coordinate with governance to maintain traceability when risks become trends or formal changes.
• Prepare risk dashboards, executive summaries and decision-support materials for project reviews and stage-gate decisions.
