Job summary

RK&K is seeking a Risk Management Professional to support risk activities across major capital programs and complex infrastructure projects. You will join the Project Controls practice, identifying, quantifying, and managing project risks with clients and teams.

You will develop risk processes, integrate with cost and schedule controls, and provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.
• Experience in project or program risk management, with mid/senior level responsibility.
• Experience identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks on complex projects or programs.
• Experience presenting risk analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Experience integrating risk with cost, schedule, and project controls; proficiency in risk modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of risk management plans, processes, and governance.
• Facilitate risk identification and mitigation workshops with clients and teams.
• Develop risk registers, matrices, and mitigation strategies; document outcomes.
• Evaluate risks across cost, schedule, scope, procurement, contracting, and design.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analyses and risk-adjusted forecasting.
• Integrate risk management with project controls and performance reporting.
• Monitor emerging risks and communicate trends to leadership.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards using Power BI and related tools.
• Support evaluation of changes, claims, and procurement decisions from a risk view.
• Lead development of risk methodologies, standards, and tools; mentor staff.
