Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct Consumer product underwriting experience (Consumer Real Estate or Consumer Vehicle Lending or Credit Card).
• Understanding of the five credit categories: character, capacity, capital, collateral, conditions.
• 2+ years of Quality Assurance or Business Control experience in consumer products.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Ability to communicate clearly to diverse audiences.
• Solid understanding of Risk Management and the Credit industry.
• Experience with governance, controls, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee risk management governance for the Line of Business (LOB).
• Conduct risk framework activities including monitoring and testing of controls.
• Liaise with businesses to understand market trends and impacts on portfolio.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Analyze Consumer Underwriting decisions to validate adherence to standards.
• Develop and maintain reporting packages for Consumer Post Approval Review team.
