Builders Mutual is seeking a Senior Risk Management Consultant to support Columbia, SC, Greenville, SC, Spartanburg, SC, and Augusta, GA. The role blends home-office work with field visits about 3–4 days per week and occasional travel to Raleigh for meetings.

You will lead risk assessments, trainings, and client consultations while mentoring junior consultants to strengthen the team. The ideal candidate combines insurance risk expertise, construction safety knowledge, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of safety/insurance risk management experience.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to handle ambiguity.
• Strong customer service, communication, and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, schedule, and consult with prospects and policyholders in the territory.
• Conduct risk consultations, evaluate exposures, and recommend controls.
• Complete reports, training, and follow-up communications within required timeframes.
• Lead special projects and mentor new consultants as needed.
• Deliver safety training for clients and agency partners.
