Job summary

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Senior Construction Risk Engineering Consultant for the Casualty Lines in the Southern region. This role is remote from home with travel requirements across the Georgia/Texas/Carolinas region as needed.

You will deliver risk engineering consulting for construction projects, develop risk control plans, and market fee-based services to clients. A strong background in construction risk, safety/joint operations, and relevant certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in Construction Risk Engineering, Safety/Risk Management, or Construction Field Operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years in Construction Risk Engineering, Safety/Risk Management, or Construction Field Operations.
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Adapt Zurich's Innovative Solutions to the Construction Industry to minimize customer losses and improve resilience at the corporate level.
• Use Zurich’s risk engineering tools to improve customer risk and account management for construction insurance products.
• Deliver high-quality risk management consulting to identify exposures and gaps for risk mitigation recommendations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners to tailor service plans.
• Marketing and selling a range of fee services to support risk mitigation efforts.
• Produce presentations and deliver risk management training for customers and internal teams.
• Provide risk improvement advice, conduct loss investigations, and implement improvement programs.
• Assist clients with QA/QC plans, safety plans, and moisture mitigation identification.
