Capital One in McLean, VA seeks a Senior Manager, Vertical Risk Manager for DaaS to guide risk frameworks across products and platforms. You’ll partner with executives to implement risk controls and drive risk-aware decisioning that supports customer experience and growth.

You will lead cross-functional teams, synthesize data, and push proactive risk improvements while staying ahead of regulatory changes. This role combines collaboration with business leaders and hands-on risk program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• 5+ years in risk management or financial services; 4+ years in program management.
• 4+ years of interacting with internal business clients and partners.

Responsabilités

• Work with business teams to develop products, processes and risk practices.
• Lead risk framework discussions and drive solutions to improve risk profiles.
• Participate in risk forums and reporting; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead ad-hoc projects to improve processes or control environments.
• Synthesize data and deliver proactive business insights from team analyses.
• Collaborate across risk, compliance and business support functions.
