Capital One is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to join its Enterprise Risk Management team in McLean, VA. You will lead cross-functional risk initiatives, leverage data insights, and partner with technology, product, and data teams to strengthen the bank's risk framework.

You will design risk metrics, deliver executive reporting, and train teams across lines of defense to ensure consistent risk management practices across the organization.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 year of Financial Services Risk Management Experience.
• At least 5 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 7 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients.
• PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to simplify and standardize risk processes.
• Leverage data analysis and operational insights to identify core problems and formulate effective solutions.
• Collaborate with 1st Line and 2nd Line stakeholders to align strategies and ensure consistent execution across business lines.
• Partner with technology, product, and data teams to implement required system and process updates.
• Design and implement risk metrics to measure framework effectiveness and process health.
• Lead training across lines of defense to ensure consistent adoption and execution.
• Establish and manage guidance to ensure consistent execution across business lines.
• Design and manage reporting that provide real-time visibility into process health for leadership.
• Provide subject matter expertise on risk processes when representing ERM in projects and other meetings.
• Deliver reporting and executive-level presentations that provide leadership with real-time risk visibility.
• Collaborate across multiple organizations to achieve objectives.
