Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp (Qcells USA) seeks a Risk Lead to provide independent project-risk oversight across EPC pursuits and projects. The role focuses on execution, cost, or technical risk while supporting the broader Risk Management model.

Travel up to 30% and remote work from the Houston office are expected, with reporting to the Director of Project Risk Management. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, accounting, quantity surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant EPC risk, construction, project management, engineering, estimating, project controls, or related experience.
• Strong analytical, documentation, facilitation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify material project risks, assumptions, interfaces, triggers, impacts, accountable owners, and response plans across EPC pursuits and projects.
• Independently challenge whether material risks are understood, backed by evidence, and reflected in plans and controls.
• Assess cross-functional dependencies among execution, cost, schedule, and technical areas.
• Provide independent risk input to proposals, reviews, and leadership decisions; maintain risk records.
