Qualifications

• 3+ years in data science, risk analytics, AI/ML engineering, or related quantitative discipline in financial services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• Experience deploying Generative AI or LLM-based solutions, incl. prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation, fine‑tuning, or agent‑based architectures
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience handling large‑scale datasets
• Ability to translate analytical findings into concise executive communications and actionable recommendations
• Experience building automated data pipelines and production-grade tools
• Solid understanding of consumer credit risk, macroeconomics, labor market indicators
• Collaborating with technology, governance, and risk teams to meet enterprise controls and responsible AI standards
• Knowledge of ML frameworks and libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain risk intelligence capabilities using internal and external data sources and analytical tools
• Lead end-to-end Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities for risk insights, including architecture design and deployment
• Design and maintain AI-powered solutions for automated risk detection, narrative generation, and executive reporting
• Translate complex risk and macro trends into actionable executive insights and strategic recommendations
• Evaluate and implement new AI technologies and platforms to improve efficiency and risk monitoring
• Ensure compliance with firm standards for controls, governance, and responsible AI practices
• Build and refine automated research and reporting pipelines for timely risk intelligence outputs
• Identify emergent risks by integrating alternative data and macro signals into monitoring frameworks
• Develop scalable prototypes and proofs-of-concept to demonstrate AI value and drive adoption
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define requirements and ensure AI solutions address business needs
• Stay current on LLMs, agent frameworks, and applied AI research to enhance capabilities
