Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Emerging Risk Strategic Analyst - Senior Associate to lead AI-powered risk insights for Consumer & Community Banking.

You will bridge data science, risk management, and governance to deliver scalable AI solutions and executive-ready analyses. You will collaborate across Technology, Data, Risk Management, and Governance teams, building automated research pipelines and influencing risk strategy with insights drawn from macroeconomic indicators and credit risk

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data science, risk analytics, AI/ML engineering, or a related quantitative discipline within financial services or a similarly complex, regulated industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related quantitative field.
• Experience developing and deploying Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with large-scale datasets.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into concise executive communications.
• Experience building automated data pipelines and production-scale tools.
• Solid understanding of consumer credit risk and macroeconomic indicators.
• Experience collaborating with technology, governance, and risk management teams to meet enterprise controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain risk intelligence capabilities using internal/external data to monitor health, credit performance, labor market conditions, and macro trends.
• Lead end-to-end development of Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities for risk insights, including architecture design and deployment of LLM-powered solutions.
• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered solutions for risk detection, narrative generation, and executive reporting.
• Translate risk and portfolio trends into actionable, executive-ready communications for senior leadership.
• Evaluate and implement new AI technologies and platforms to improve efficiency and insight quality.
• Partner with Technology, Data, Risk Management, and Governance to ensure compliance with controls and responsible AI standards.
• Build and refine automated research pipelines that synthesize data into timely risk outputs.
• Identify emerging risks across portfolios by integrating alternative data and macro signals into monitoring frameworks.
• Develop prototypes and PoCs to demonstrate value of AI capabilities and drive adoption across the organization.
• Collaborate with data engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize use cases.
• Stay current on LLM and agentic AI advancements to enhance capabilities.
