Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; 7+ years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Working knowledge of risk management principles, processes and quality standards.
• Ability to research, analyze information, document conclusions and recommend actions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with independence diligence and onboarding for mergers and acquisitions.
• Monitor timely completion of independence compliance requirements.
• Review and implement safeguards for independence-related requirements.
• Monitor and assist with independence consultation requests.
• Support restricted investment monitoring and regulatory requests.
• Assist with compliance monitoring for public company independence requirements.
• Participate in special projects and AI tool development to streamline requirements.
