Job summary

MFS is seeking a Data Management professional based in Boston to drive accountability for data quality and governance across a multi-asset book. You will own data stewardship, support investment and reporting teams, and lead first-response data quality initiatives with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving, strong communication, and collaboration across Operations, Technology, and Compliance to ensure data is fit-for-purpose and available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, CS, engineering, data science or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 6–8+ years in investment management, with 7+ years in investment data/analytics and/or operations.
• Strong project-management and process-management skills to guide data quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and track data quality issues and remediation to resolution.
• Prioritize data quality backlog with stakeholder input and risk considerations.
• Serve as SME on end-to-end data flows and lineage across systems.
