Job summary

Truist in Atlanta seeks a senior risk reporting leader to design, implement, and run complex recurring and ad hoc reports, analyses, and data services. You will support risk stakeholders with accurate insights and drive data-driven decisions across the Risk Management Organization.

The role requires mentoring teammates, guiding moderately complex projects, and ensuring data integrity and governance across reporting tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, Qlik, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead moderately complex projects and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls.
• Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.
• Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes.
• Assist with development of departmental documentation, particularly for highly complex and technical activities.
• Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.
• Lead moderate projects with heightened risks, complexity, and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger initiatives.
• Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.
