Job summary

Acuity is seeking a Senior Risk Control Consultant to conduct risk assessments and surveys for the Commercial Underwriting Department, preparing detailed survey reports and providing expert risk control guidance to policyholders and agents. The role includes identifying loss exposures and developing safety and training programs across Waco, Temple, and College Station.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Science or equivalent; CSP/ALCM/CFPS preferred.
• Ten years risk control experience; 5–10 years also considered.

Responsibilities

• Collect information on prospects and policyholders per underwriting standards and industry best practices.
• Prepare objective reports comparing accounts to peers.
• Meet report quality, productivity and timeliness goals.
• Conduct service calls to assist policyholders with risk control and hazard controls.
• Coordinate with resources and provide safety literature to insureds.
• Assist in safety meetings and training sessions at policyholder locations.
