Job summary

Wilmington Trust is seeking an Institutional Services Risk Control Design Specialist focused on analyzing process and control design. You will coordinate with business partners to provide feedback, review processes, and support an effective control environment in the Banking and Capital Markets sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, or 9 years combined education/work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in banking and capital markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to communicate concepts and develop alternative recommendations.
• Ability to build consensus and move projects forward despite roadblocks.

Responsibilities

• Drive process and control improvement by providing timely feedback to business partners.
• Review process maps, procedures, and control design language for risk and improvements.
• Identify and communicate risks to partners, reach consensus, and drive change.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data and automation to strengthen processes.
• Maintain understanding of Institutional Services products, processes, and regulatory criteria.
• Manage several workstreams concurrently and provide status updates regularly.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
