Job summary

Acuity is seeking a Senior Risk Control Consultant to perform risk assessments and risk control guidance for the Commercial Underwriting Department in Missouri. You will identify loss exposures and develop safety programs for policyholders and agents, delivering detailed survey reports and practical recommendations.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder collaboration and on-site client visits in the St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• CSP, ALCM, CFPS or similar designations preferred.
• Ten years experience in risk control within a multi-line insurance company or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collect information on prospects and policyholders to assess conformity with underwriting standards.
• Prepare objective reports that evaluate and grade accounts against peers.
• Meet report quality, productivity and timeliness goals per standards.
• Conduct risk control services and recommend hazard controls to improve risk profiles.
• Stay current on industry standards (M. Best, NFPA, OSHA, DOT) and lead safety trainings.
