Job summary

Acuity Insurance is seeking an experienced Risk Control Consultant for their Commercial Underwriting department. This role involves conducting surveys and preparing reports to help reduce loss exposures and improve safety programs for policyholders.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Bachelor's degree and five years of risk control experience. Acuity offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance and a generous 401(k) contribution.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in risk control with a multi-line insurance company or ten years in a safety related field.
• Ability to collect and analyze data relevant to loss control.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys and prepare survey reports for the Commercial Underwriting department.
• Provide loss control assistance and advice to policyholders and agents.
• Make recommendations to reduce loss exposures at insured accounts.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, Science or equivalent
