Job summary

Grange Insurance in Ohio seeks a Risk Control Representative or Senior Risk Control Representative to deliver hazard evaluation, loss prevention guidance, and Stewardship support for complex insured risks.

You will conduct site surveys, prepare risk control reports, and provide consultative improvements and safety training to clients and staff, with a focus on growth for the Enterprise Risk Control team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Property Casualty Risk Control/Loss Prevention experience.
• Minimum 5 years knowledge of OSHA, NFPA and other technical standards.
• Minimum 5 years knowledge of commercial coverages and risk evaluation techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
• Must reside in the Northeastern Ohio territory (Cleveland, Canton, Akron).

Responsibilities

• Provides risk evaluation services through site surveys to identify loss exposure, hazards, and controls for complex risks.
• Delivers consultative risk improvement services, especially for the Stewardship Program, and develops corrective action plans.
• Prepares high quality written risk control reports and client communications for internal and external audiences.
• Conducts safety training meetings and presentations to clients and staff as needed.
• Promotes Enterprise Risk Control services and identifies new service opportunities.
• Manages travel and scheduling to maintain a current service territory, contributing to growth.
