Performs on-site evaluations of moderately sophisticated policyholder operations to identify potential exposures and assess current controls. They provide tailored consultation and written recommendations to address claims trends and reduce insured losses, while collaborating across departments to enhance underwriting and renewal decisions. Acting as a technical resource, the consultant supports team members, delivers advanced training, and offers specialized services such as ergonomic and hazard assessments. Through agency engagement and strategic service planning, they foster strong relationships with clients and agents to promote risk control solutions and long‑term account success.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a safety, engineering, industrial safety, fire protection related field or equivalent relevant experience Three years of experience in risk control or safety role, or related experience Certifications such as certified safety professional preferred

Travel required; a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards required if driving
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following: $72,726 - $99,800 or $79,834 - $109,786 A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
