**This position can be performed remotely for candidates who reside in the Phoenix, AZ area**
Conducts on-site evaluations for highly sophisticated and niche-market policyholders, identifying exposures and developing customized strategies to reduce insured losses. This role provides expert consultation across all lines of coverage, collaborates with internal departments to support underwriting decisions, and delivers advanced training and guidance to fellow team members. It serves as a technical resource within specialized focus areas and offers tailored services such as hazard control, ergonomic, and slip-fall assessments. The role also promotes EMC’s risk control capabilities through agency visits and industry presentations while nurturing trusted relationships with agents and accounts.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a safety, engineering, industrial safety, fire protection related field or equivalent relevant experience
Five years of experience in risk control or safety role, or related experience
Certifications such as certified safety professional preferred
$92,670 - $128,045 or $102,443 - $140,845A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
