• Understanding of medical treatment outcomes, torts, venues, and jurisdictional matters; strong investigative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Personally investigate and manage the company's claims; work with insurers to set claim reserves.
• Escalate claims when needed and gather information for resolution.
• Directly manage property damage, auto damage, and workers' compensation claims; retain defense counsel when required.
• Provide excellent service to insureds/claimants by phone.
• Prepare reports of claims activity and lead file reviews.
