GE Vernova is seeking a Risk Manager to lead quantitative risk analysis, develop a Risk Management Plan, and drive governance of project risks. The role requires hands-on experience with Primavera and SAFRAN, and strong leadership across matrix organizations.

The position involves managing risk across multiple projects, coordinating with PMO and functional teams, and traveling up to 20%. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and 6–8 years of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited university.
• Proficient with Monte-Carlo risk analysis tools such as SAFRAN or equivalent.
• 6–8 years of nuclear or power industry experience in project/risk management or related fields.
• At least 3 years of risk management or project controls experience.
• Solid understanding of power project lifecycle, risk management principles, and contract terms.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert and primary point of contact for Risk Tool (SAFRAN) across multiple projects.
• Lead risk & opportunity identification, deep dives, and mitigation actions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, influence, and communication across all organization levels.
• Collaborate with Project Management, PMO, and stakeholders to align risk priorities.
• Lead risk-related daily management routines, risk reviews, reporting, and trend tracking.
• Benchmark internal and external risk management practices.
