Fifth Third Bank in the United States is seeking a Senior Risk Advisory Consultant to partner with Wealth Advisors and Strategists. You will identify client risks, evaluate coverage, and coordinate implementation for high‑net‑worth clients within the wealth planning process.

The role leads complex cases, reviews policies, and collaborates with fiduciary professionals to deliver integrated risk solutions while maintaining documentation and risk controls.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• State licenses for Life, Health and Long-Term Care, as required under Fifth Third licensing guidelines.
• Eight or more years of insurance planning, advanced case design, wealth planning or related financial-services experience.
• Experience advising high-net-worth clients and collaborating with relationship managers, planners or external professional advisors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structured risk assessments for new and existing wealth strategies, identify protection and liquidity gaps, and document findings and recommended next steps.
• Develop insurance strategies that complement estate planning, wealth transfer, business succession, executive benefits, charitable objectives and broader client financial goals.
• Explain complex insurance concepts, tradeoffs and implementation considerations to clients and their external advisors in a clear, balanced and understandable manner.
• Work alongside Wealth Advisors, Wealth Strategists, fiduciary professionals and other SCAS specialists from discovery through recommendation and implementation.
• Lead complex cases, including data gathering, financial and policy analysis, illustration review, carrier engagement, underwriting coordination, application strategy and policy delivery.
• Evaluate existing life, disability, long-term care and annuity arrangements for alignment with current objectives, ownership structures, funding assumptions and service needs.
• Develop proactive relationships across assigned regions, participate in opportunity and planning discussions, and help advisors identify situations requiring Risk Advisory involvement.
• Maintain complete documentation, follow applicable policies and procedures, elevate exceptions and concerns, and support appropriate review of recommendations and transactions.
• Contribute to assessment questions, planning standards, advisor education, templates and process improvements that scale the Risk Advisory model.
• Provide technical guidance and case support to the Risk Advisory Associate and less-experienced partners while escalating the most complex matters to the Director.
