Zusammenfassung

Riveron is seeking a Senior Associate for its Risk Advisory group in Houston. You will assess ICFR design and operating effectiveness, develop remediation roadmaps, and perform ICFR risk assessments, collaborating with senior team members to guide projects and client engagements.

You’ll engage in SOX readiness, internal controls testing and monitoring, and IT/cybersecurity risk assessments while building strong client relationships and contributing to firm initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CIA and/or CISA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in external audit or risk advisory roles.
• Knowledge of business risks, ICFR, SOX and COSO framework.

Aufgaben

• Understand clients’ objectives and regulatory/risk environment.
• Assist projects in Sarbanes‑Oxley Compliance/Internal Controls.
• Execute risk assessments for misstatement and fraud risks in financial reporting.
• Assess design adequacy of internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Identify control gaps and design remediation roadmaps in greenfield environments.
• Create internal controls process flows and risk/control matrices.
• Maintain technical competency per COSO/COBIT auditing standards.
• Set priorities and coordinate project team activities.
