Job summary

Riveron is seeking a Senior Associate in Risk Advisory to assess ICFR design and operating effectiveness, develop remediation roadmaps, and perform ICFR risk assessments. You will work with senior team members to guide projects and deliver client-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, CIA and/or CISA preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience, external audit or risk advisory.
• Knowledge of business risks and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).
• Familiarity with SOX and COSO framework.

Responsibilities

• Understand client objectives and regulatory environment.
• Assist projects in Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance/Internal Controls.
• Execute risk assessments considering misstatement and fraud risks.
• Assess design adequacy of internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Identify control gaps and design remediation roadmaps for greenfield environments.
• Create internal controls process flows and risk/control matrices.
• Maintain technical competency per COSO, COBIT, auditing standards.
