Job summary

Riveron is seeking an Associate Director for the IT Risk Advisory group. You will lead engagements, manage project plans, review staff work, and mentor consultants while addressing IT risk and control considerations for clients. Strong background in IT governance, SOX, and cybersecurity is essential.

You will travel as required to client sites and contribute to business development within Riveron’s risk practice.

Qualifications

8+ years as IT auditor or IT risk advisor in a public accounting firm or related IT compliance role.
Solid knowledge of IT risk management, general and application controls, and regulatory frameworks (SOX, NIST, ISO).
Strong client relationship development and ability to communicate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead ITGC assessments, SOX IT compliance, ERP/application control reviews, and cybersecurity risk assessments.
Manage project plans, supervise staff work, provide client status updates, and mentor junior consultants.
Develop IT control process flows, risk/control matrices, and testing strategies.
Coordinate daily project activity, monitor budgets, and ensure deliverables meet COSO/COBIT standards.
Communicate with clients to set expectations and report project status; present findings to leadership.
