Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Risk Advisor to deliver audit and advisory services for CuraCor Group's non-insurance assets, focusing on financial and entity-level risks and controls.

The role partners with management to design, implement, and monitor internal controls using COSO, strengthening governance across subsidiaries. The position offers a hybrid work model, professional growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher required; CPA/CIA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in auditing, risk management, internal controls or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Audit Manager in performing audit and advisory engagements related to acquisitions and corporate synergies.
• Utilize COSO to design, implement, and monitor entity-level controls across subsidiaries.
• Analyze processes to identify risks, gaps, and mitigation strategies; provide management with governance recommendations.
• Document processes, risks, internal controls, and testing procedures per department framework.
• Provide guidance and training to management on risk identification and mitigation.
• Perform ad-hoc audits, identify deviations, and report findings.
• Lead control deficiency assessments and validate remediation actions.
• Proactively identify and communicate risks to Audit leadership.
• Lead walkthroughs, perform testing, and develop audit/advisory plans.
• Produce high-quality audit reports and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
