Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Senior Risk Advisor to provide audit and advisory services for CuraCor Group's non-insurance assets, focusing on financial, strategic, and entity-level risks and controls. You will partner with management to develop, strengthen, and operationalize key processes and internal controls across the parent organization and subsidiaries.

Reporting to the Financial Audit & MAR Manager, the advisor helps design, implement, and monitor effective controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required, plus 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience in auditing, risk management, internal controls or consulting preferred.
• Professional certifications (CPA or CIA) highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Audit Manager in performing audits and advisory engagements.
• Utilize COSO framework to design and monitor entity-level controls.
• Analyze processes to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Document processes, risks, controls, and testing procedures.
• Provide guidance and training on risk identification and mitigation.
