Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review diagnostic data to ensure Medicare Advantage, ACA, and Commercial risk adjustment documentation.
• Provide education to providers individually or in groups on coding requirements.
• Conduct code abstraction and audits to ensure ICD-10-CM codes are properly supported.
• Collaborate with physicians on documentation, policies, and coding issues.
• Mentor new staff and support coder training and orientation.
