Job summary

Jobot seeks a senior engineer to design offshore riser systems and perform OrcaFlex analysis for complex, high-visibility projects worldwide. You will execute conceptual FEED, studies, and detailed design, build and validate models for fatigue, strength, installation, and clashes, and prepare clear calculations, reports and procedures for review.

Requirements include 8–15 years in oil and gas with a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural/Mechanical (Master's preferred); hands-on OrcaFlex experience; and

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of oil and gas experience, preferably in offshore facilities.
• Proven working knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods; OrcaFlex experience required.
• Familiarity with API, DNV, ISO, ASME standards; EIT or professional society membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering for risers.
• Build and verify riser analysis models for fatigue, strength, installation, and clashes.
• Prepare clear design calculations, reports, and procedures within scope and schedule.
• Provide technical direction and review work by designers and junior engineers.

Job Details

• Perform conceptual FEED, studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on complex and demanding riser tasks
• Build and check riser analysis models covering fatigue, strength, installation, and clashing analysis
• Prepare clear, accurate design calculations, reports, and procedures while managing scope, budget, and deadlines
• Provide technical direction, design verification, and review of work produced by designers and less experienced engineers

Requirements

• 8 to 15 years of experience in oil and gas, preferably in offshore facilities
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Proven working knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods, with hands on OrcaFlex experience required
• Strong understanding of API, DNV, ISO, ASME, and other standards applicable to riser engineering
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or membership in a professional engineering society preferred
