Wolters Kluwer US is seeking a Physician Editor (Adult Rheumatology) for an 80–90% FTE editorial role. The editor will evaluate literature, craft clear, evidence-based clinical content, and provide actionable recommendations for care to practitioners nationwide.

The position supports remote training and allows flexible work arrangements, including hybrid or remote employment with overlap with Eastern Time business hours.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree is required.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Adult Rheumatology is required.
• Ability to dedicate 80–90% of time to editorial work.
• Clinical experience in an academic setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit new contributions for clarity, relevance, and actionable recommendations (supporting evidence).
• Update topics as new developments arise and monitor literature.
• Collaborate with outside authors, editors, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and lack of bias.
• Work with in-house editors and graphics staff to maintain topics.
