Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Physician Editor (Adult Rheumatology) for an 80–90% FTE editorial role. The position supports evidence-based, actionable care recommendations and entails remote work with hybrid options for those within commuting distance of an office.

Training is provided, with senior editors guiding new topics and literature review to ensure clinical relevance. Ideal candidates have medical degrees, board eligibility in adult rheumatology, and post-residency academic experience.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Medical Degree
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Adult Rheumatology
• Clinical experience in an academic setting after residency
• Impeccable communication skills in written and verbal form
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at different skill levels
• Ability to spend 80–90% of the work week on editorial work and 10–20% in clinical activities

Responsibilities

• Review and edit contributions from external authors to address clinicians' questions
• Ensure topics contain specific, actionable recommendations and supporting evidence
• Update content by monitoring literature for new developments
• Review topics for clarity, completeness, and clinical relevance
• Collaborate with authors, editors, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and lack of bias
• Work with in-house staff to produce and maintain topics
