QBE, LLC is seeking a Senior RHEL Engineer to join our team at Fort Gordon, GA. The role focuses on analyzing, engineering, and improving Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and OpenShift virtualization platforms used across GEOINT sites.

You will automate and optimize systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver properly configured virtual servers with robust storage, networking, and redundancy. Candidates should have strong experience with OpenShift and virtualization, plus an active

Qualifications

7–10+ years of experience in systems administration/engineering.
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Significant systems analysis experience and expert knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically Red Hat OpenShift.
Cyber certification: DoWM 8140.03 baseline certification and CE certification before privileged access.

Responsibilities

Dig into technical, business and data processing problems and turn your findings into better computer systems.
Translate user requirements and pain points into automation and improvements to existing systems.
Assess system capabilities, workflows and scheduling limits, and recommend commercial software that closes the gaps.
Bring planning, resource allocation, leadership and coordination skills to keep people and work moving.
Help configure hosted enterprise virtual servers with the right storage, redundancy, networking and virtual hardware.
