Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Enterprise RHEL Administrator to lead the administration and modernization of enterprise Linux infrastructure at Fort Belvoir, VA.

You will manage security, automation, and high-priority operational support for mission-critical systems. The role requires 8+ years of experience, Top Secret clearance, TS/SCI eligibility, and relevant Red Hat certifications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience.
• Top Secret clearance currently adjudicated; TS/SCI eligibility.
• BS degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Red Hat experience and security compliance knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority for Red Hat Enterprise Linux platforms.
• Provide administration, sustainment, security, resiliency, and modernization.
• Lead troubleshooting, automation, and cybersecurity compliance efforts.
• Support DSMS portfolio including DIAMONDS, JADE, NIMACS, GAT, and DATS.
• Develop and enforce scalable configuration-management and hardening standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure availability.
• Create technical documentation, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
