Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicable DoD 8140/8570 certs or equivalent, e.g. Security+ CE or CySA+.
• Bachelor's degree or 3 years' hands-on RHEL admin experience.
• Direct Linux admin, CLI, user management and patching experience.
• Hands-on with DISA STIGs using SCC/OpenSCAP.
• Familiar with reviewing ACAS/Tenable vulnerability reports.
• Understanding PKI installation and PAM/SSSD authentication.

Responsibilities

• Remediate findings from ACAS/Tenable via patches and config hardening on RHEL 8/9.
• Implement and maintain compliance with DISA STIGs and CTOs.
• Configure and enforce SELinux in enforcing mode.
• Manage central identity, PAM/SSSD, and DoW PKI/CAC auth for access.
• Configure host-based firewalls and audit logging per DoW requirements.
• Deploy security updates across restricted networks using YUM/DNF / Satellite.
• Develop Bash and Ansible playbooks for STIG hardening and audits.
• Document mitigation strategies and POA&Ms for unresolved vulnerabilities.
• Compile evidence and OpenSCAP reports for CORA inspections.
