Job summary

eMed in Miami, FL is seeking a Manager, RFP Strategy with 6-15 years of experience to lead complex RFPs, RFIs, and procurements for enterprise clients. This role goes beyond writing and requires strategic thinking about economics, implementation, and client experience.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to develop a centralized, customized response strategy, manage timelines, and mentor the RFP function as it grows.

Qualifications

• Approximately 6–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep experience with self-funded employer health plans.
• Experience completing or managing complex RFPs, RFIs, and healthcare procurements.
• Strong written communication and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end responses to complex RFPs, RFIs, consultant evaluations, and other formal procurement processes.
• Translate procurement requirements into clear workstreams, responsibilities, deadlines, and internal deliverables.
• Ensure every response tells a coherent story about eMed's clinical model, pharmacy strategy, economics, member experience, implementation capabilities, reporting, and outcomes.
• Coordinate contributions from Sales, Partnerships, Clinical, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Implementation, Client Success, Security, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain strict compliance with procurement requirements, deadlines, formatting requirements, attachments, certifications, and submission instructions.
