Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an RFIC Layout Engineer to join the Wireless SoC Radio Team. You will research, design, and bring the next generation of wireless CMOS radios to high-volume production, focusing on RF and analog layout and full verification flow.

You will perform transistor-level layout, collaborate with designers on floorplanning, and ensure power and signal integrity as well as device matching. A BS and 10+ years of experience are required; Cadence tools and scripting skills (PERL/SKILL)

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of RFIC layout industry experience.
• Experience with RF/analog layout techniques and device matching.
• Strong understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and high-frequency routing.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed transistor-level layout of RF and analog blocks (LNA, mixers, PLL, LO, PA, ADC/DAC, baseband filters, bias networks).
• Complete block-level layout through extraction, DRC, LVS, and DFM checks and verification.
• Collaborate with designers on block floorplanning and layout reviews for power, ground, and signal integrity.
