Job summary

Apple, Inc. seeks an RFIC Layout Engineer for its Wireless SoC Radio Team in Irvine, CA.

You will design and bring up next-generation wireless CMOS radios from RF front-end to baseband blocks, ensuring high-frequency performance and robust power integrity. You will perform detailed transistor-level layout, verify with extraction, DRC/LVS, and collaborate on floorplanning to optimize parasitics, matching, and shielding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in RF/analog layout for radio transceivers preferred.
• Knowledge of RC delay, electromigration and coupling is important.

Responsibilities

• Detailed transistor-level layout of RF/analog blocks (LNA, mixers, PLL, LO, modulators, PA, ADC/DAC, baseband filters).
• Layout through full verification flow: extraction, DRC, LVS, DFM checking.
• Collaborate with designers on block-level floorplanning.
• Review power/ground routing, electromigration, signal coupling and matching.
