Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Redmond, Washington, is seeking a Sr. RFIC Layout Designer to work on complex silicon projects for spacecraft and advanced infrastructures. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and requires strong expertise in IC layout design, particularly with experience in RF circuits. The compensation package includes a salary range of $130,000.00 - $180,000.00, and comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as an IC layout designer or 8+ years without a degree.
• Experience in layout of circuits with frequencies up to 50 GHz.
• Understanding of layout considerations for device matching and noise isolation.

Responsibilities

• Work with IC designers for chip floor plan and power distribution.
• Perform layout of custom RF and analog circuit blocks.
• Conduct design rule checking and resolve errors.

Skills

Strong analog layout skills

Experience in advanced node IC layouts

Experience with shell scripting, Perl, Python

Excellent communication skills

Able to work independently

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering
