Qualifications

• BS and 10+ years of applicable industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of RFIC circuit layout and tape-out experience with RF front-end blocks, PA, LNA, mixer, PLL, LO, VGA, ADC/DAC in deep sub-micron CMOS.
• Deep knowledge of analog design standards including noise, linearity, mismatch, stability, and other impairments.
• CMOS device physics, RF tool modeling, and circuit design for RF performance.
• Understanding of packaging effects, isolation, and high-frequency ESD techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and/or RFIC blocks.
• Oversee layout and verify layout for a successful tape-out.
• Test the layout and debug issues from early development to productization.
• Collaborate with system teams to define RF/baseband block requirements.
• Work with the tech group to maximize performance given node limitations.
