Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior RFIC Design Engineer to join the RFIC Engineering team. You will design, simulate and develop RF/Analog ICs for Starlink and aerospace applications, working with cross‑functional teams across systems, firmware and ASIC groups.

You will translate specifications into silicon, perform layout and characterization, and help bring space-grade RFICs from concept to validated hardware. This role requires advanced RFIC expertise and a passion for cutting‑edge space technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• 5+ years of RF integrated circuit experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulate and model RF/analog/mixed‑signal circuits and systems
• Derive specifications for RFIC subsystems and circuits
• Develop Analog/Mixed‑Signal/RF circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes
• Collaborate with system architects to partition hardware and software functions
• Perform IC floor planning and layout
• Model package and external parasitic components
• Characterize prototypes and validate full radio performance
