Job summary

EVONA seeks a Senior Engineering Technician to advance new product development with hands-on RF testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting. You’ll verify amplifier performance, support prototypes, and help develop repeatable test procedures.

You’ll set up RF test equipment, test amplifiers, assist tuning, and document results. A hands-on, detail-focused professional with 3+ years in RF/electronics is needed, onsite five days a week in East Brunswick, NJ.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in electronics or RF testing.
• Hands-on use of RF test equipment.
• Experience in production or hardware design environment.
• Understanding of electronics, AC circuits and RF measurements.
• Ability to follow test procedures and communicate issues clearly.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Onsite work in East Brunswick, NJ five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate RF test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Test RF amplifiers and circuits against engineering requirements.
• Support microwave tuning and circuit adjustments using measurements.
• Investigate issues and escalate complex problems to engineers.
• Support prototype circuit builds and RF transistor characterization.
• Create and maintain test procedures and test results in the QM system.
• Collaborate with engineering, assembly, and production to meet deadlines.
