Job summary

Mercury Systems, Inc. is seeking an RF Test Technician to conduct RF measurements and mechanical assembly of semiconductor components spanning DC to 40GHz+.

You will interpret block diagrams and schematics, prepare test reports per ATPs, and assist with Acceptance Testing Procedures. You will test and assemble RF components with lab equipment, contribute to new designs, and develop understanding of RF component behavior while ensuring high-quality products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; strong fundamentals in electronics.
• 5+ years' RF and microwave testing experience.
• Solid understanding of RF measurements (return loss, gain, noise figure).

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and mechanically assemble RF components from 20MHz to 40GHz, including filters, mixers, switches, and RF modules.
• Perform RF/Microwave tests with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Execute thermal and environmental tests and debug using test equipment.
• Set up test equipment for testing production hardware independently.
• Work from schematics, work instructions, drawings and procedures.
• Assist engineers with new design and prototyping.
• Develop understanding of operation and parametric behavior of RF components.
