Job summary

Mercury Systems in the United States currently seeks an RF Test Technician II to perform RF measurements on semiconductor components. The role involves tuning and diagnosing RF/microwave assemblies from DC to 40 GHz, with documentation of results in line with ATPs and procedures.

The candidate will work with lab equipment such as network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters, and may assist with new designs, prototyping and first article units.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2+ years' RF/Microwave component testing experience.
• Experience with electrical measurements (return loss, insertion loss, gain, noise figure, intermodulation, harmonics).
• Familiarity with DC theory and following test instructions/manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Tune, test and troubleshoot microwave components from 20MHz to 40GHz.
• Conduct RF/Microwave tests using lab equipment and maintain documentation.
• Set up test equipment for production hardware testing with minimal supervision.
• Work from schematics, drawings, and procedures; may assist with new design and prototyping.
• Perform manual and automated production tests on RF semiconductor components.
