Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a RF Test Engineer in Washington to support New Glenn RF hardware from concept through flight-ready hardware. You will work with RF hardware and software engineers across disciplines to verify performance and ensure safe spaceflight.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or a Master's with 3+ years in aerospace RF design. Strong emphasis on signal integrity, grounding, and HW/SW integration is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in aerospace RF hardware.
• Experience developing high-speed mixed-signal circuits and validating designs in lab environments.
• Knowledge of signal and power integrity, grounding topologies, and production layouts for aerospace systems.
• Experience integrating hardware, firmware, and software across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analog, digital, and power circuits for RF systems including software-defined radios and amplifiers.
• Own the full product lifecycle for test equipment supporting flight hardware.
• Create and review manufacturing documents (schematics, layouts, BOMs).
• Develop comprehensive test plans and procedures covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute laboratory tests to verify flight units meet specifications and assist root-cause analysis.
