Job summary

Echodyne Corp is seeking a Senior RF Test / Debug Engineer to advance high-performance radar systems in a fast-paced setting. You will plan, perform, and optimize RF measurements on radar subsystems, distill data into metrics, and collaborate across EE, systems, and manufacturing teams to solve complex problems.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, RF test method development, and mentoring junior engineers, with an emphasis on ensuring reliability and performance of state-of-the-art radar

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with micro-electronics PCAs in a lab environment.
• Familiarity with ESD equipment and procedures.
• Experience using RF test equipment (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, amplifiers, splitters and switches) at microwave frequencies.
• Knowledge of RF metrics such as return-loss, gain, noise-figure, compression point and bandwidth.
• Experience using digital and analog test and measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers.
• Experience performing root-cause analysis and developing tests for root-cause assessment.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform measurements and extended tests on Echodyne Radar RF subsystems and components.
• Compile and analyze the resulting data, distilling into key performance metrics seeking full understanding of new RF circuits or in the identification of root-cause.
• Design, maintain and improve RF test and measurement capabilities, methods, fixtures, and equipment.
• Work with the electrical engineering, systems, and manufacturing teams to identify metrics of interest, anticipate measurement requirements, and develop troubleshooting procedures.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
