Job summary

Echodyne Corp in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Senior Electronics Debug Technician to join a fast-paced team developing high-performance radar solutions. You will perform measurements, diagnose board- and system-level failures, and drive root-cause investigations to accelerate production throughput.

You will work with EE, systems and manufacturing to ensure complete root-cause analysis and effective corrective actions, using RF test gear up to Ka-band and robust lab practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with micro-electronics PCBs in a lab
• Familiarity with ESD equipment and procedures
• Experience with RF test equipment up to Ka-band (40GHz)
• Experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers
• Python experience interfacing with test equipment
• Experience assessing RF metrics such as return loss, gain, noise figure
• Experience with analog/mixed-signal circuits, I2C and SPI
• Strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements and tests to identify root-cause for production test failures
• Localize failures to subsystem level for rework before re-entry
• Compile and analyze test data, distilling into key performance metrics
• Develop and document debug methodologies for emergent failure modes
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, systems, and manufacturing teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions
