Job summary

Spectrum Control, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated RF technician to perform production-level testing and support new production introduction (NPI).

The role includes breadboarding prototypes, calibrating test stands, training technicians, and working with engineers to optimize test fixtures and datasheets for ease of use. The position emphasizes RF circuitry, hand soldering down to 0402, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing/engineering setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; 7 years in electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Train production technicians on products and assist engineers with NPI.
• Assist in setup and calibration of RF test stands and optimize fixtures.
• Build switch boxes and characterize prototypes; support debug of RF modules.
• Support failure analysis, repair of non-conforming products, and root-cause investigations.
• Promote Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
