Job summary

Keysight Technologies in Santa Rosa, CA seeks an NPI Engineer to advance RF/microwave test equipment from concept to production. You will work with R&D, marketing, and production teams on models, calibration, and validation activities, while developing robust test fixtures and software tools.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware testing and software development, with responsibility for design-for-manufacturing considerations and life-cycle management of instruments and test processes.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with RF and microwave development experience.
• Strong test & measurement expertise in RF/microwave theory and applications.
• Experience developing OO software for test applications.
• Willingness to collaborate with worldwide groups across teams.
• Proficient in testing and troubleshooting RF, analog, and digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D and marketing to develop new product models and features.
• Design and implement calibration algorithms.
• Design, develop, debug, validate tests and verification tests.
• Design and turn-on test boards and fixtures for Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Manage hardware, measurement, characterization, and calibration processes from NPI to production.
• Create technical documentation and specify production line requirements based on data analysis.
• Oversee component selection and life-cycle management to extend product life.
• Transition products and manufacturing processes into production and manage post-release engineering.
