Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a Senior RF Test Engineer to lead the bring-up and validation of RF power electronics for SPARC. You will operate high‑power RF transmitters, validate complex RF behaviors, and ensure seamless integration with SPARC’s control networks.

Must have a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Physics, 7+ years of RF/high-power testing, and hands-on work with high voltage systems and EMI/EMC mitigation. Equity and growth opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 7+ years hands-on experience testing high-power RF systems.
• Experience with high voltage components and energy storage.

Responsibilities

• Lead board-level bring-up and debug of PCBAs and embedded controllers.
• Operate high-power RF transmitters and validate RF behaviors.
• Bridge hardware with control software for data collection and control nets.
• Design and manage FAT fixturing and test procedures.
• Translate validation steps into repeatable procedures for technicians.
